The Lundeen Medical Group is the "doing business as" name for multiple medical offices specializing in physiatry, physical medicine and rehabilitation, pain management, independent medical exams. Patients with industrial and occupational injuries, motor vehicle accidents, and intractable pain are treated. Workers' Compensation claims and personal injury cases are accepted. The practice specializes in C92 exams supporting the injured worker.

James E. Lundeen, Sr., M. D. is the owner and principal medical practitioner of the Lundeen Medical Group. Dr. Lundeen holds a BS in Electrical, Computer, and Biomedical Engineering from University of Illinois, Urbana, Illinois; MS in Chemistry from Illinois State University, Normal, Illinois; and MD from the University of Health Sciences, The Chicago Medical School. Dr. Lundeen has had post-graduate training at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and St. Vincent's Charity Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Lundeen is boarded by the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners (August 2000).

The Lundeen Medical Group makes extensive use of computing resources. Each of the clinical locations and Dr. Lundeen's home (offices in his home) is fully networked. Four locations are interconnected using 56 kilobit DDS lines and a MUXserver. Each location has at least one PostScript laser printer, and at least one VT420 terminals. As a result, the practices have significantly fewer employees than other practices of similar size and complexity.
